Spring cleaning hacks to help you get it done!
Can you believe it's springtime already? We sure can't… since we've all spent more time in our homes over the last year, they definitely deserve a deep spring cleaning this time around! Here are some of our favorite tips & tricks to help make all the cleaning and decluttering a little less stressful.
Clean room by room
Breaking up your spring cleaning by room is the best way to dive right in. Cleaning the whole house all at once can be a daunting task, especially if you've had kids that are still learning from home or family members that are stuck inside all day. Try starting with the easiest rooms like your bedrooms, bathrooms, and closets. Then move on to bigger spaces like your kitchen and living room to help spread out your efforts.
Organize and clear the clutter
Most of our time cleaning is really spent on reorganizing, decluttering, and figuring out what excess stuff we can get rid of. While you're going from room to room, think of items that you can donate or clear out to help lessen the clutter or at least make it easier to organize.
Incorporate the seasonal chores
While you're tackling that indoor cleaning checklist, why not throw in some of those outdoor chores as well while you've got the energy? Springtime means cleaning gutters, prepping the sprinklers, and getting to the garage clutter too.
